cable fairleads

Post by Dave Qualley » Fri Feb 17, 2012 9:37 pm

The only fairleads I was provided with my kit require that an angle be mounted
at
each location since they mount 90 degrees to the cable. I would much rather
have the fairlead mount right on the same surface as the hole and the
plastic rings are easy.
I had the same problem.. Then I noticed that Murphy had taken these same
fairleads on the factory plane, and drilled a new hole perpendicular to the
original center hole.. Seems a little odd, but it works..

You're kidding! Well, if it works...

Thanks,

Mike

P.S. Man, you must be a night owl or working a night shift like I am. It's
midnight now here in Fairbanks and everywhere else in Canada and the US is
later. I just got your response to the problem drilling large holes too.
Thanks.
