This is an excellent place for a Click Bond nutplate. One hole instead
of three, auto-centering, etc. Highly recommended. Good surface prep,
fresh epoxy and you're good to go. Available from

In section 20.0 Control Installation, the plans refer to an anchor nut a
being part of each horn end plug. (torque tube running trough cabin
connecting wings) My assumption is that one must install a floating anchor
nut (FS5000-4) into the end plug (EL 31) prior to riveting the plug to the
tube. If that is indeed the case did anyone have an issue with the anchor
nut rivet hole distance from the 5604s that hold the end plug to the control
horn. The plans make is sound as if the anchor nut is actually part of the
end plug...hence looking for end plugs with built in anchor nuts. )
Probably over thinking this, but sometimes the instructions leave me baffled
:)
