might have been Canadian Tire, about 8 or 9 years ago. Anyway, this one built my Rebel,
(estimate 25,000 rivets), and to this day still works as good as the day I bought it, as
best I can tell. I have never done any repairs or had it apart, other than the head the
odd time, when a mandrel got jammed in there. Since new, though, I have always put a drop
or two of "Universal Power" Air Tool Oil in the air intake before I start using it. Don't
know if that made the difference, but that's my experience.

You can get cheap replacement guns for 90 cdn (60 USD) from House of
Tools in Canada or similar shops. However, I have done many tune-ups on
my guns.
Firstly, ensure the tip is set at the correct length. Usually a tool is
supplied that has a guage on the side. Take the nose cover off, butt one
end of the tool against the housing and the inner nose tip should be in
line with the guaged mark. adjust as required. AS I recall, one of my
guns lists 62mm the other 71mm.
Secondly, if not pulling your teeth may be worn out (The guns not your
pearlies). These can be replaced for about 10USD (your Pearlies will
cost more).
Thirdly, if pulling but not enough, you may be low in oil. These guns
use oil for a hydralic action. Remove the large "C" ring from the
bottom. Hold a towel over the bottom and under low pressure, carefully
pull the trigger. (Don't point bottom at bodily parts as I first did
this with it on my lap, Ouch!) the bottom will pop out and inside you'll
find a plunger with a 3/4" or so rod/piston attached. remove this
assembly and in the cavity that the rod was in fill with oil to almost
the top of the cavity. I use good old 10W30. reassemble and test. If too
much oil the nose will not extend far enough forward. If too little it
won't have enough action for pulling.
