Should already be a hole in those strut/gear brackets...drill the hole thru
in the same location.

Also, I will obviously have to go through the cage uprights. I plan to
drill
a 1/2" hole about 3 inches down from the top of the strut/gear brackets
centered between 4 rivets. The edge distance looks OK for the rivets. Has
anyone done this?
I think I can use continuous lines for the buried part by installing them
as
I rivet the forward fuselage structure together, so I shouldn't need any
extra inspection holes. We'll see.

There is a hole, but from what I can tell it would be too high to provide a
good down slope under the door sill.

Is there two holes in yours?? Possibly not.. but MAM started putting a 1/2"
hole in them lower down, as well as the upper bolt hole for squaring the
cage during build. I think I have the newer style here if you 'd like a
picture.

No mine only have the smaller upper hole. If you have a picture thatdbe
great. I take it then that a half inch hole is OK?

Hi Jesse !

I really wouldn't want to drill a large hole in the cage
structure !! Why not just run the line on top, like most are
doing now ??? It's simple, much easier to replace, and you can
get a bit more of a drop - it definitely works that way ...

Nothing wrong with a hole in that location and why Darryl started putting
the 1/2" hole in the Fus-2 gusset just for it.

You know the messes I've seen and never any deformation in this location.

I just want to have it out of harms way, and going for a clean interior
look. I already have all the cables routed under the floor, so why not the
fuel line too?
