Hi Jason. I believe there is a typo in the manual and they refer to fus
380's (inside corners) which go on the floor area of the baggage compartment
section. Mine are also marked fus 33. I do not see anywhere else in the
manual where these would be used. see page 5, fig 9 dated 13/03/2002. Bob J

Evening all,

On the Moose/SuperRebel fastbuild, what are the
FUS-33's for? I have three of these, they are curved
sheets of aluminium.

I suspect they are for the inside of the fuselage
above the rear windows/baggage door? I can't find
where they are referenced in the builders manual?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, -Jason

Jason they go in Section 9.3 Fuselage Assembly Page 12 Step 70 it is an
omission in the MAM manual.. They go into the top corners to finish
them...I can give you instructions on them if you need.... The FUS-380
mentioned by someone else go into the bottom corners in cargo area they have
a square type bend on them not rounded like the correct markings of FUS-33
which is correct for the part you are referring to... They aren't mention in
the MANUAL but I will guarantee you this is where they go... Dale SR-033

Hi Drew: Right now just a Moose quick build for another gentleman. ( I just
wish it was mine.) I did build and fly Rebel 652 for 3 years - sold it (
really stupid - I miss it terribly) , Built another Rebel for someone else
and also built a Challenger for me at that time, currently flying that - but
it aint no Rebel ( wana buy it). I would like to build myself another Rebel,
but later - after I sell the Challenger. Oh yeh, I started with a Zenair
701 - That was a lot of fun if you did not want to go anywhere in a wind.
That's all for now, but I do have to admit, I enjoy the building as much as
the flying. - Keep at it as you know - It really is worth it. - Bob

Thanks Dale - My manual makes no indication of inside corners at the top and
I am missing the Fus 380 parts. I guess that is why I assumed (the famous
word) the 33's went on the bottom. - Sorry for misinforming. Boy - I wonder
what other surprises I will find. Bob J

Not a problem Bob,,, I could probably write the manual without it as many
times as I have read through it trying to figure things out.. And I kinda
chucked it when I changed the moose to a trigear instead of a taildragger.
The manual is good as a guide line but is hard to follow sometimes... I have
talked to several people that were missing the 380 including myself so it
would have been easy for you to mistake the 33 for them except the sharp
bend on the 380 when you see them is a give away for them.. Dale SR-033
