Hi all,
I'm getting ready to install the floor channels prior to the floor skin.
I haven't riveted the lower outside corners in yet and was going to
rivet them once the floor channels are in place. Would I want to leave
the outside corners off to aid in drilling the inside lower corners from
the bottom up? A couple problems come to mind like maybe loosing
alignment of bulkheads by doing this and then the outer corners not
fitting again. Just looking for some ideas, with those small inside
radias to try and hit with a drill bit.
Thanks,
Mike Betti

Mike:
I don't recall riveting the inside corner wraps at the radias. I just
riveted on the wide flanges of the channels. I don't think you would
have enough edge material to rivet the inside narrower channels.

Thanks for your input. You may be on to something, the airplane is strong enough with out a floor so why weaken the bulkheads with rivets in those narrow corners.
