Hi folks,
I wanted to check with everyone to make sure my
wire sizes sound ok. Just working on the right wing
and am about ready to run my first wire ever!
Basically all i have in the right wing is an Aero
Flash combination double-flash strobe
light/nav/position light.
As far as I can tell, 18 AWG sounds like the wire to
run. I am saying 18 feet hust to be safe and plan on
running the wires down the strut to the panel.
Sound on par with what others have done?
-Jason

Hi Jason,
I used 18 for the position lights and strobes. Used 14 for the taxi and
landing lights.

wire sizes for SR wing
Using the table in my AC43-13 18 gauge looked like it would be fine for
everything in my wings, including the 10 amp draw for my pitot heat. So I
used 16 gauge just for the heck of it.
