Aerocets

Post by Don Boardman » Fri Feb 17, 2012 9:59 pm

Hi Al,

Each generously sized float compartment will, by the book, hold 100 Lbs.
Translates to three five gal cans each or a sixteen gal bladder each
Some additional 30 gallons. Very useful option. Cans can be handy if one has
to obtain fuel "off site".

Yes, I think they are a superb float.
They are sitting in a trucking warehouse 2 hrs from the shop. We will be
picking them up next Wednesday .... can't wait.

Al, Just re-read you message before sending off my response and SEE that yes
a permanent or semi permanent "Tank/Bladder" in the float(s) could act as a
filling point from which you could transfer fuel. Will have to get my
thinking cap on.

Aerocet is located near my home so if anyone needs a little local leg work
let me know.
I have been looking for an excuse to visit their shop.

Hi Jim,

Let me know if you want to go to Aerocets. We could possible fly up together
if they are accessible from the air strip.
