FWIW it looks like MAM now recommends zero vertical stabilizer offset in
the updated manual on the their web site. The pros and cons of this were
discussed here some time ago.

Hoorray !! Another win for the builders !! It is a lot easier
to install the fin centered - saves wrestling with fairings and
mounting bolts...... and it really is ideal for only one power
and speed setting, in any case. All as discussed here several
times.

vertical stab offset
Hi Ken:
There was alot of debait on this subject. I decided to offset my fin a shy
3/4". Other builders I spoke with whether offset or not the bird flies hands
off.
Spoke with Daryle about this some time ago. He said well don't offset it.
The remedy seemed to be to put washers behind your motor mount redirecting
the slipstream instead. This however would seem to create other issues like
baffling, cowling, prop flange clearence to cowling, etc. Just a few thoughts
you may want to investigate.
Good Luck
