Having looked through the archives, I cannot seem to find the info I am
looking for... the dimensions for the landing light kit from Trevor/MAM.
We want to install our own landing lights but would like to know the
dimensions of the lexan used, the aluminum trim around lexan, etc. Also,
does the kit use the existing rivet line of the front spar? I don't
suppose there are pictures of installation in progress that can be sent
to me directly or to archives??? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

The Bezel around the lights is 11 - 3/16 x 8 - 1/2 with 1" rads outside and the
inside is 2" smaller in each dimension keeping the 1" rads. The Lexan is 1"
narrower in each dimension than the Bezel outer. The rivet line is about 2"
farther back than the front spar.
OK?

Hi Peter & Monica !
You might want to consider putting Halogen lights in the
wingtips, as Murphy now supplies tips set up this way ....
Of course, you'd use your present tips, and buy the lights from
Canadian Tire - they're easy to mount, and you just make a Lexan
cover as you would for the wing-mounted lights.
Saves cutting the wing, and makes lights a bit easier to
wire & change .... (Lights can be brighter, and a LOT cheaper !)
