Thanks for all the ideas guys. I thought about it a while and made my
decision. I drilled out the rivets connecting F to fus-39 and the bottom
overlap on F. I clecoed fus-40 to fus-39 and drilled the proper alignment
holes in fus-39. I clecoed F back to fus-39 using these holes and re-did
the overlap. I Drilled back through the rivet line on fus-39 into the F
flange. I had drilled that line at a 1" spacing and the new position of F
is 1/2" inward on both sides so I ended up with holes every 1/2" on the F
flange and a rivet in every other one - I got plenty of edge distance and I
think it'll be fine.
Then I used the same alignment holes in fus-40 and built the remaining
six bulkhead halfs. They are all identical and the proper width:) I think
I had a pretty good day.
