Can anyone list a supplier of small gas cylinders (12 ") for supporting my
doors which open up ??

Howdy Mike, We used an 11 inch RV replacement strut (40 pound) from our
local RV, camper & trailer dealer. They have many lengths and weights. Ours
cost $14.99 each. Good luck and as Curt says keep at it, it's worth it. Man

YOU MAY WANT TO TRY USING THE COILED- SPRING TYPE OF SUPPORT USED ON BOAT
HATCHES. i HAVE USED THEM FOR OVER 2 YEARS ON13BN AND THEY WORK GREAT. THEY
ARE STAINLESS STEEL, AND COST $7.95 EA,

You might want to check the Princess Automotive Catalog, they list several gas
cylinders that might be adaptable.
