Hi all,
I hope you don't mind me having a little plug here, I am heading to Oshkosh with a friend in ten days time to 'check the scene out'.
Because of unavailable flights home on the right days we have a few days to kill over there, as we are both New Zealand pastural Dairy farmers we thought it would be kind of neat if we could organise a visit to a Dairy farm somewhere in the vicinity ( We would be prepared for a reasonably long drive) so we could see how things are done Stateside.
If any builders out there fit the 'bill' and are willing to accept a visit from a couple of 'Kiwis" or know of somebody who may be, please contact me on the e-mail address below
Cheers

Oshkosh trip
Hi Aillster,
I'm sure you are aware that Wisconsion is one of the dairy capitals of the
states! If you just take a little drive around the area you'll see a large
number of very beautiful farms. I had the opportunity to meet the Gentleman
in charge of the campground fire service and he is a dairy farmer. Funny I
can recall that but I don't recall his name! I too grew up on a dairy farm,
but it was in the eastern US in the state of Vermont. The farm stopped
milking 8yrs ago, and was just sold after being in the family for over 135
yrs. I'm sure if you just ask that around the show you'll get great responses.
Looking forward to meeting you. Curt N97MR

Hi Curt,
Thanks for the reply! We certainly will keep our ears open while in Oshkosh, I am sure opportunities will present themselves.
I received another reply and it looks at this stage as if we have been successful in organising a visit, so that is great!
Thanks again and I look forward to meeting you at Oshkosh. ( you will be there?)
Cheers

Hi Brian,
Hope you get this before you leave. I'll be staying in the campground. It
looks like the Rebel is ready to go, but I'm not. I just don't want the first
few hours done on a trip. See you there. Curt N97MR
