I have a personal distain for facebook. Is there enough good information with the facebook group beyond what is available here that I should reconsider my dislike of fb?

Thanks,

Didn't even know there was a facebook group. Wouldn't matter, I don't use it for any reason.

I'm surprised it exists though and doesn't seem to show up on web searches for Murphy related things.

If you are flying in western Canada, Alberta general aviation has a good Facebook page, lots of info on cool places to go, restaurants, strip & flying conditions, mostly for Alberta, but also some info for SK & BC. That's where I found windy.com, great for checking surface winds.
