On July 11th Dan Cybulski took His Rebel up for its first Flight. Everything worked great. We did a under the cowl check and went to fly it again in the evening and the GRT EIS oil temp probe failed during warm up. And the only PITA of GRT is they only use US mail or UPS ground for shipping. So we have to wait a week for a $40 part to fly again.

My GRT EIS 6000 uses standard VDO temp sensors. I have purchased them from an automotive performance shop and can send the part number tomorrow evening if you like.

Thanks Ken one is on its way on my Fedex account. The VDO one needs an adapter to fit in a Lycoming. They did say they had a bad batch awhile ago. Murphy's law says we would get a dudKen wrote:congratulations.
