Hi Guys.
My prop has just started de-laminating.
A piece of aluminum at the base has come off.
It's a triangle piece 90 degrees of the circle, and about 3/4" at one end to a point at the other.
I have it mounted on a 150 hp O-320.
I've talked to Darryl at WD and will be sending it back.
He also suggested using the dampener.
Does anyone have a good lead on these little babies.
I'm hoping to have the new blades back in 2-3 weeks, so I've got that long to located, purchase and assemble a dampener.
I'd appreciate any help (WAYNE or Bobp) on this.
Thanks guys.
BTW - all you guys out there with 150HP O-320 and no damper better check your installations.

Hi Rick !
Thanks for the update - sounds like everybody will have problems
eventually !! :-( Definitely worth checking !
The dampeners people have been using come from Mark Landaul -
I think he's in Michigan, but it's in the archives at :
www.dcsol.com/murphy-rebel under mail lists/archives
Sometime in the last couple of months, someone gave the
address & tel. number for Mark - good luck !

Rick, what would it take to get you to photograph the delamination and
upload it here on the site? I have a WD and would love to see what
everyone is talking about.
Mike, is it possible to simply reply to postings via my browser? I can
chose Next or Prev but can't select Reply or Forward.

It should work now. I want to point out though, that when you post a
message to the list this way, it will be from the account you are logged
into the system with, not from your normal e-mail address. This is not a
problem, it will just appear differently in the archives. Also, this wont
work using the default rebel/builder login, it will only work if you create
your own login.
