Well, no sign of the Regina maps - Nav Scam strikes again !!
There's a faint hope they might turn up on Monday - suggest calling
VIP to cancel your order if they haven't already shipped....
Guess the next best thing is to call CAA if you're a member,
and pick up a Saskatchewan road map !! We can go over my old map
from RR-2000, for route planning, and mark up the road maps if
necessary. Sad state of aviation !! Oh, well - we always said
that "Ramblers travel all over North America with just a clean
windshield and an Esso road map" !! ;-) Just like the barnstormers !
Looking forward to seeing a bunch of you on Monday night
at the RAA-TR hangar at the north end of Brampton airport, for
the Ramble Kick-Off BBQ !! I hear some are planning to come and
camp over - there will be washrooms available, and we'll try for
shower access in the Air Cadet Building ....
See you then !! Or at Gore Bay Airport on Wed. morning !! :-)
We'll have a shot at crossing the border !
