heater questions

Post by Drew Dalgleish » Sun Feb 19, 2012 11:35 pm

I have finally installed a heater in my rebel. Is a control really
needed or can I just wire it open in the fall and closed in the spring?
Also I remember reading in one of the tony bingelllis books that a
spring wrapped around the muffler increases the amount of heat. Has
anyone tried this? does it work?

heater questions

I would put in a heater control, on warm winter days I have to shut the heat
off. I picked up stainless steel wool pot scrubbers at a hardware store and put
them in the the heat muff for more heat. Getting my doors sealed really helped
keep it warm inside.
