Hi All

I'm posting this on behalf of Wayne for all of you following Jen's progress,
as he's without email at the moment in the hospital. He's able to post and
receive via facebook which is where the following posts come from.

Surgery was on July 6th

July 8th
Jen's in great spirits today and the only thing that is bothering her is
that the monitor sticky pads actually burnt her chest. Dr. Wunder was in
with his crew and stated he'd never seen anyone so "able" this soon after
surgery. She can lift toes/bend ankle and knee...

July 11th
Today, and even yesterday, with a rolled towel under her knee she can lift
her lower leg up off the bed!

She's done 7 months of chemo for Ewing's Sarcoma in her right pelvic bone
and where it spread to the surrounding tissues. She has now had surgery to
remove the r pelvic bone and part of her sacrum. Nothing is getting
replaced, expected of scar tissue and existing muscles to hold the leg on
and make it work again.

July 12th
Epideral morphine line came out yesterday. Currently taking about 1/2 the
hydromorphone by pill that she was prior to chemo. Puts into perspective
just how much pain she was in from the tumor.

July 13th (today)
Dr. Wunder told her she's allowed to roll over onto her stomach if she
wishes (with the aid of 2 or 3 people_.... his entire surgical team is
amazed at her recovery after only 6 days!

Looks like she's doing remarkably well, all fingers and toes crossed this
side of the pond for her, and indeed all the family. Our thoughts and
prayers are with you all.
