[rebel-builders] MAM Elite headliner

Post by Bill Maxwell » Sun Feb 19, 2012 8:42 pm

Is the headliner that heavy, or is it a matter of taking away headroom,
so you cant stack the beer cases right up to the roof?

I found it to be flexible enough to go into place with out beating things up
on the Moose. Don't know if it is the same part or size requirement.

BUT do fit it before making any cut outs for the windows

I have had my headliner a looong time and have several times tried to put it
in place to reference skylight locations. We are still constructing so no
cutting errors yet BUT I do not see how it is even possible to install the
headliner in the space provided. Have decided it is not worth the fight to
install. Ralph

[rebel-builders] MAM Elite headliner

Post by Jeff Micheal » Sun Feb 19, 2012 8:42 pm

Just to note....... SR Series headliner is made from fiberglass, the Elite
headliner was not. So you could put the headliner in the Elite without
compromising the ability to carry "wobbly pops".

I have had Moose Drool and it can't hold a candle to Leinenkugel lager
brewed in Chippewa Falls Wisconsin. Next time to Oshkosh see if you can
find some. Maybe if my headliner is soaked in Leinie perhaps it would jump
into place. It has made me do stranger things.

I think Bob P meant, "Don't slosh and FLY!". Sloshing is OK AFTER flying and makes the flying stories more believable!

Ralph.. the headliner is easiest to install while the fus is still upside
down!!! Not hard to roll it over now is it....LOL

I let Howard do mine, using his (at the time removed) panels to get a rough
cut first. Took him about 6 hours to put mine all in. I think it took him 40
hours to do his from scratch.
