[rebel-builders] Anphib's for the Moose

Post by Bob Patterson » Sun Feb 19, 2012 8:35 pm

Hi Kelly !

Why not something designed for the Moose ?

http://montanafloat.com/

Keith might have some bargains .....

I've heard that some 180/185 amphibs are not so great ...
(Sorry Wayne - don't know - guess yours are not the doggy ones ..)

I'm looking at set of anphib's for the Moose. I have my eye on a couple
out there, one with 185 rigging and the other with 206 rigging, both look
good and a fair price.

Question is : For the moose, am I better off with one or the other? Or
does it even matter?

Thanks

The EDO 3500's are a bit heavy (750lbs installed).. but a well
designed/performing hull. Clair Sceili actually borrowed one of my floats to
make the mould for his Clamar 3500 hull's.

Some bad 180/185 CAP floats out there... the earlier models.
