Speaking of which, the 2011 Copa convention is here in Langley next June. I
am a member of the BC Floatplane Association, and we are organizing some
fly-outs around that time for visitors. Also planning a program to take up
non-float pilots to show them what they are missing. Might be a good time
for some of you to come out this way.
100 lake trout, eh, that's pretty incredible. That's my kind of fishing...

Fishing wasn' t the greatest on the main lake this year as the water heated
up way too soon.... but I did find a back lake to drop the canoe on, in mid
September, that we could catch a 100 Lake Trout a day on (and it's not a
stocked lake!!). They have that nice red/orange flesh and are the tastiest
fish I've ever had.

Glad people are enjoying the videos. I didn't get a lot of opportunty to
play with it, but the camera does take some fairly decent shots.

Finally got a chance to watch all your videos, Wayne. Very beautiful, and
brought back some very pleasant memories of my visit there. You definitely
have float plane heaven there at Tamagami with all the lakes and beautiful
scenery.
How was the fishing this summer? Find any new hot lakes? Catch any big
lakers?
This should be a great inspiration for others who are still building or
planning to go floats. People just don't know what they are missing.

if you have a video card and connection to get the extra clarity bump it

If you are considering my performance on amphibs... 6 of the 9 videos
from
this summer the canoe is on the starboard side. The first two, departure
from Irish Field and approaching Temagami from the south do not have the
canoe on, nor does the final departing Temagami Video. I also had a sick
cylinder. Came home and did a compression test before tucking her away...
58/80 with an extreme exhaust leak on #4.
