Taking the Landing Gear Thread a Different Direction

A fellow Rebel owner was mentioning to me the fact that there is supposed to be a doubler (a second square tube) inside the main gear leg. I have kit #207, purchased originally in 1992. I looked in my 1998 version of the manual and it lists this part. My kit inventory list doesn't list it. Does anyone have info on this? Should I be finding a tube to put inside mine? Sounds like I need to but I haven't seen a "doubler" mentioned on this site that I can recall. Anyone? Craig
