[rebel-builders] lock wire

Post by Miller, Ross W » Sun Feb 19, 2012 6:24 pm

Mike,

Aircraft safety wire must meet very specific Military Specification requirements and will have a MilSpec number, e.g. MS20995, associated with it. If the local hardware doesn't have a MilSpec number verifying it is "aircraft quality", don't use it.

Subject: [rebel-builders] lock wire

Hi all

So I need lock wire to finish a bunch of stuff.

Question, is the lock wire I get from say aircraft spruce any different than
an equal gage from a local hardware store if both are stainless

Cheers
