[rebel-builders] prop spacers

Post by Drew Dalgleish » Sun Feb 19, 2012 6:23 pm

I don't have a spacer on my prop with a piper tri pacer nosebowl. If you
have the speed cowl I think you need one.

Does the rebel with 0-320 require a spacer to put spinner and prop clear of
the nose bowl, how much of a spacer is needed

Is it possible to push cowl and nose bowl back far enough so a space is not
needed

Cheers

[rebel-builders] prop spacers

Post by Angus McKenzie » Sun Feb 19, 2012 6:23 pm

I have an extra 2" prop spacer.

Came with the 80"Borer I bought. I had a machine shop counter-sink all the holes for the prop flange so I would not have to use it. The correct bolt kit was priced at $650 for the 6+" AN bolts

Post by Angus McKenzie » Sun Feb 19, 2012 6:23 pm

Hi Mike, My engine is 0-320-A2B from and American Champion Challenger GCBC and I'm not certain of the SAE pattern, I think it's 3/8" maybe someone will jump in here and tell us so you'll know before I go to the hangar and check the pattern/size.
