[rebel-builders] Rotax 100Hp

There is lots of info on the Rotax engine in the archives. Just search for
"Rotax".

I am building with a Jabiru 3300, though it hasn't flown yet. So far I know
of only one completed Rebel with a Jabiru, and have published that owner's
statements about performance -- also in the archives.

Please feel free to write me direct for more info.

Hello every body,

I'm just discovering the Rebel and I would like to kwnow: 1- the actual
performances and weights of this plane with a Rotax 100Hp.

2-Is there any
Rebel flying with a Jabiru 3300, if yes I'd like to join the owner to have
some discussion about this engine(At the moment I fly a P180S fitted with a
Jabiru 3300)

Many thanks,

If you are interested in Rotax engines, you might want to check out this
web site, http://www.extremeaircraftengines.com/, for 130 hp Rotax fuel
injected engines for less money than the 100 hp.

[rebel-builders] Rotax 100Hp

Post by Jim Cole » Sun Feb 19, 2012 6:03 pm

Hi Yves, I have a 100 HP Rotax Rebel that works great from my point of view. It was 823 lbs empty (with only a partial paint job).

If you do get serious about building then I can send some pictures and a fellow French man built my motor mount. Daniel Sassville in Saint Lazere is also the eastern Canada rep for Rotax.
It's not as fast as the 150 HP lycomings but on the trip to Vancouver and back we used 1/3 the fuel.

Cheers
