Hi Mike, The Fife Wing Tips for the Rebel are "Hoerner" type tips. I ordered a set from Dave Fife and they are gorgeous!
I do not know about the performance yet because I am a few months away from flying. I also ordered the "tail tips" and "rudder tip" at the same time. They look good and fit perfectly. Dave Fife did exactly what he said he would do! It took him appx. 4-6 weeks to make everything up and get them shipped to me. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

HI Mike,
I have no idea about the performance #'s with the droop tips, but the
improvement from the std tips to Fife's tips are well documented.
In a nutshell, T.O. roll went from 300 ft to 250. Cruise increased about
2.5 kts.
The best part? Fit, scuff, paint, done! (and no drooped corner to rap
your head on in the hanger) Rudder/elevator tips are that easy too.
Not sure if anyone has done the std tip to droop tip swap. I'm curious
about that too.
