[rebel-builders] FUS-0367 straps (Moose)
Without getting out the micrometer (and since I'm not at the hangar anyway)
those are probably 0.020 (or 0.025 if you can't get 0.020) 6061 T6. I think
you're right about the 3" but I'd have to measure the length/height. Same
material that connects station 7/8 across the cabin top (doing this from
memory--so I want to double check for you later).

[rebel-builders] FUS-0367 straps (Moose)
If I am following you fellows correctly:
At station 6 (rear door post) across the top of the fuselage, just forward
of the flap torque tube the piece measures .022" (with zinc chromate on it)
and it is 1-7/8" wide. I would be tempted to go to 2" in width if I was
making them. This really creates a solid Box Beam.
I didn't have to go to the airport to measure because I am still working on
mine in the garage 17 steps down...Not like Ted's which is finished and
flying and taking him to wonderful places, and was show central at Oshkosh
this year, and party headquarters for dozens of us, and shade, and. and,
and!!!
OK Ted, I'll calm down and take my blood pressure meds and be alright in a
few hours!
