Charles,

ALWAYS 3 point !! I only do wheel landings when I'm feeling
particularly sharp and brave - 3 points are just so much easier, no
matter what the wind. That's just in the Rebel - I used to have to
wheel the Super Cubs all the time. It got so we wore out one tire
first always - and that was on a grass strip !!

Visited a very nice airport on the way to Florida - it only had
ONE runway, and it was near the end of the Appalachian Mountains.
I asked why they built the runway ACROSS the valley, when winds
ALWAYS blow DOWN valleys -- It seems the Governor owned this long
narrow piece of land .... ;-)

It was over 25 Kt., straight across - no problem for FINR
- Rebel number 001, with the mighty Rotax 912 !!

I could have landed ACROSS the runway, but figured, being
tourists, we'd better not do anything that might upset the locals ! :-)
