Hi all
does no one have answer to question for mounting cc-38 brackets on fus-5's
?????
mike#007
Have noticed a problem with mounting the main control tube that the control
sticks attach to on my rebel.
The main carry through fus-5's (x2) are cut in half on my rebel instead of
being square tube like on most rebels.
The brackets that hold the control tube are cc-38 and normally rivet to the
fus-5's.
In my case the cc-38 brackets are to wide to attach to both fus-5's , what
do i attach the cc-38 to, the floor panel or must i add channels ???

cc-38 mounting help
Well Mike,
Here's my .02. As long as you get a rivet into the front and the rear
carrythrough, that should be sufficient, with the two in the space in between
the carrythroughs. Just a thought, you might install the co-pilots side with
rivnuts so you can remove the bracket to be able to swing the torque tube out
of the way so you can lie on your back and work under your panel. Like I
said, My .02 Curt N97MR and keep at it it's worth it.
