I dunno, Ben. It had crossed my mind. Maybe the group can run wild with
this one! On a good note, I was able to salvage my FUS-7 (floor) and will
not have to make another one. Funny how one thing that works out can change
your whole mood. CW

Even tho I'm the one who brought it up, I might add that I'm personally
disinclined to go that far with a Rebel. Part of it is that I'm just not that
interested in it. If I were interested in it, I certainly would be very careful to
put everything else in my favor, e.g., the thicker corner wraps, probably the
moved back firewall, more diagonal braces, a lighter prop, perhaps lighter
(eci) engine, and being on floats or limiting top speed in terms of the tail
structure limits.
There. I feel better.

Well, this is one of those times I'm reminded why my feet are only a size 8.5; it's so they can fit easily inside my mouth. My original post on this thread from me was to a fellow builder (I thought) and not worldwide. Some who read the post might assume incorrectly that Bob is not reliable or knowlegable regarding the rebel. I want to be clear in that I believe Bob P is very knowlegeable regarding the rebel and has been nothing but help and inspiration to me since we started our project. A follow-up call to Bob is forthcoming. Craig
