Canada. It was a very simple process of flying it in and having transport
Canada do a FREE inspection on it.. take your Cof R and C or A money and go
flying. Now you get someone to fly it into Canada.. ground it.. strip the N
#'s off.. get it all up to snuff to pass Canadian regulations.. do fuel flow
tests etc etc... and then contact MD-RA to perform the inspection, that will
equal a final inspection as if you'd built it, then sit and wait for flight
authority etc after declaring you've fixed all the snags they listed for
you.
Easiest route before you start... be sure it has 100 hours + in the journey
log before even considering it.. then contact your local TC office and ask
for whom ever is in the amateur built department as an inspector for
importing a US homebuilt... and they'll lay out everything you need to do
from there.
In the GTA area Jeffrey Langford is your man out of Buttonville TC office.

Subject: [rebel-builders] REBEL to CANADA?
hello, new to group,
Can I bring a Rebel from the USA and register it here in Canada?
How long and what is the process if I can?
Thanks
John
