Best tailwheel?

We have the option upsized tailwheel on our Elite. It hasn't flown yet but I like the size and construction and it does (did) come assembled. The Elite uses a tube in a tube (round) spring, not a flat spring, so it might be difficult to adapt to the Rebel. One issue is that the plane of rotation of the tire mount for steering is not parallel to the ground in the Elite installation. A Rebel adaptation could solve that however.

If anyone is interested I have an 8" Maule tailwheel, and tire
(needs a tube) requires 1 1/2" spring $ 130.00 + shipping
Also have a MAM tailwheel, make offer. But with all of the
bad press they been getting I don't expect much. Although
they probably would work on an ultralight.
