Bob, not sure if you have internet access at the meeting clubhouse there,
but would be nice if you could video broadcast your meetings for the rest of
us who can't be there in person. Next best, would be to video record the
meeting and then post it for viewing. Maybe Mike could set up some space on
his DCSOL site for that, or do it on your new MAM site.
And with the likes of Jim and Ken there, a good agenda item would be to
share some videos and photos of past trips and places to visit with a Murphy
plane. That should help inspire those that are still building. And maybe
sell a few more, too...

Yes, Jesse !
We need 'at least' 10 orders for each model to make it economical
to manufacture. This means a bit of time to 'accumulate' orders....
It will take folks a while to get used to this model, but it really
does make sense for both sides. The best way is to get an order set up,
and in the line-up. There's no cost except the non-refundable $150
order set-up fee - NO DEPOSIT is required until we are ready to start a run
!
The setup fee will (hopefully) prevent speculators, and covers some
of the costs involved in record keeping & contacting buyers.
So, you can get an order in the lineup, and I will let you know when
we have enough for a run - at that point, you either put up the 50%
deposit, OR - say "I'll wait for the NEXT run ...". If too many people
drop out, the run will have to wait for more, until we pass 10 again ...
You should be serious about ordering - the folks who have to wait
will be a bit unhappy with those dropping out !! ;-) If you are
planning to order anyway, you might as well get in the lineup -
it could be several months before we accumulate enough orders,
especially in this economy, and there's NO getting in, once a run is
started - it's locked, as materials & times are ordered and allocated !
Production will start for the quantity on order, and shipping
will be about 8 -10 weeks after the start of a run. The balance of the
50% payment will be required about 2 weeks before crating starts.
You'll get a note !
I'm working on a setup for electronic orders right now, to
streamline the process. There are several people who have committed
to ordering, and they will be the first to get these new order forms -
once they are set up. Fortunately, I have had a bit of time for breathing
space to get things in place. We are hoping things speed up soon, though !
As you see, we've added a new rep. for Australia, and more are coming.
Ideally, I'd like to have a Sales Advisor, and Builders Meetings, in
every state, province, and country - and that's the direction we're headed !
There's a LOT of work to do, and the Murphy kits are good enough that
they deserve a larger share of the world market - all we have to do is
get the word out !! :-)
Thank you all for helping !

Bob,
Is that 10 amphib orders required for a run? I'm thinking about it.
