corrosion info

Post by Jones, Mike » Fri Feb 17, 2012 8:27 pm

Hi all

I took my landing gear apart last week in order to put fuselage in my garage
and when I removed all the bolts there was alot of white powder which
covered the bolts and aluminum parts. Is this corrosion ? If corrosion is
there something that should be put on bolts and aluminum in order to protect
them before assembly ??
