Hi Jean: Ralph is right about extrusions being done for Murphy, however I
have been able to find round and square aluminum tubing in stock from a
place called Metal Supermarket. This is a chain of stores. You may not be
able to get the 6061-t6 with radius outside corners but other grades are
available. So I guess it is depending on your application. Bob J

I just made the called for .032 doubler bigger so that it's captured by the
firewall and the corner wraps / centre stiffener. It's working well so far.

also works Jean. That will also hold some 1/4" plywood down if you want
a wear floor for your feet. Or just an angle |__
Even without floor mounted brake cylinders, I agree that it is probably
a good idea to install something about 1/2" high fore and aft to
stabilize the lower engine mounts.
