as long as the outer corner wraps are rivetted on you should be fine Jean.

Agreed. The corner wraps must be in place. However, do as much work as you
can, WITHOUT CLIMBING INSIDE THE TAILCONE, with the upper corner wraps and
the last upper skin just ahead of the vertical stab removed. I was able to
complete everything without needing to climb back inside the tailcone. This
was made easier with the extra small cargo door two bays back from the main
cargo door when I extended the cargo area as many have done. A friend of
mine did climb back there with the upper wraps off and his tailcone buckled.
He had to buy all new skins.

As long as the tire doesn't push in the skin. I always made sure a solid
piece of wood was under the rivet line at an aft bulkhead so the weight
all went into a bulkhead

What you do is sit the fuselage on a table, then put a vertical piece of
wood up from the table to behind the last bulkhead. Then you can run a
temporary wooden platform supported by a couple of 2x3 wood stringers inside
the fuselage from the cabin to this support, and work inside the fuselage,
lying on this platform. Hope this is clear!
