up some interest in these parts! Since you are going to be only a days' flying time from
here by the time you get to Quebec City you might as well come all the way to Halifax and
a few other points around here and maybe even stir up some interest in the media. You
might even find a corporate sponsor or two for a reception & BBQ etc. and maybe even add
to the small population of Rebels in these parts (a comission cheque or two would help
offset the travel costs wouldn't it?).
Apart from that, we would really like to have the chance to see a few more finished
Rebels in person, it would give us a chance to poach some good building ideas and compare
notes.
Give it some thought, there are plenty of scenic diversions & probably a few lobsters to
help pass the time.....

We might be interested in a week-long camping trip <somewhere> !!
Would have to be on wheels, though, for at least the next year ..... :-(
This would likely be AFTER Ramble 2001 .
Next Year's Ramble is still under discussion, but looks like
one week only, probably starting July 7th at the Peterborough COPA
convention, then wandering to Sherbrooke and Quebec City, back to Ottawa,
and ..... Looking for suggestions !!

Wayne, got a chance to meet with the person responsible for the Fishimi
park ( on water or otherwise). Lots of problems with security and liability,
and tons of red tape. He'd overlook a forced landing on the lake for
mechanical or other problem, but I doubt he'd buy in to severall mechanical
failures about the same time. The best suggestion we came up with was flying
into an adjuscent lake within miniutes of the park and driving people to and
from this location. I could easely look after this if we decided to go
ahead. This is still an excellent location due to all the facilities,
showers, toilets, washer and dryers etc., not to mention the beach and oh
ya! the fishing.!!!choice. It runs at $20 per day, plus $4 per person, which I think is fairlyThe group area is best reserved in advance, but is likely a good
reasonable. Anyways, there are a few other possibilities, most would be more
remote and likely more expensive as these would involve renting a cabin from
an outfitter. On the other hand, if you wanted goog fishing at he cheapest
price, we could pick a secluded lake and tent it, but this would be really
roughing it and may not be suitable to everyone.http-equiv=Content-Type><!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0Let me know what you think and we can discuss further.
