[rebel-builders] Rebel Trainers?

Flight instruction can be given in an experimental aircraft. But commercial
operations cannot be conducted in an experimental aircraft. So the
instruction has to be free. The best you can do is share the operating
costs.

Subject: [rebel-builders] Rebel Trainers?

Did I read something somewhere that said someone was going to or did build a
rebel to use as a trainer? Not sure if this was correct or if it was a
legitimate flight school. I thought homebuilts weren't allowed to be used
as a trainer, at least in the USA. Anyone know anything?

There was a guy in Peterborough using one as an advanced ultralight
trainer. Maybe in the US the new light sport rules allow it.
