[rebel-builders] Float tires

Post by Wayne G. O'Shea » Sun Feb 19, 2012 12:20 pm

Angus...if you're still stuck...I have 6 sets of tires and tubes in the
shop..8 plies that took almost a year to get.

I'm only home 'till tomorrow am though.....but we could arrange something
thru my son or you flying to Temagami and I can take them with me.

I blew a main-gear tire last week when landing at Muskoka and the
replacement I was able to get is 4ply.
Does anyone have a recommended source (in Ontario) for 8ply?
Thanks.........Angus

Yes please Sir....And, Thank you!!!
Got a 4 ply from Elton at Muskoka to get me out of there after the flat
occurred but don't trust it for continued use.
Should probably change both of them , about 1000hrTT on them.
I'm doing a steel roof on my place at Six Mile, will be back up there the
20th for a couple of days. Left all my tools and equipment up there so I
could fly up to finish the job, I've been going into Midland, near your
place, each trip to buy fuel for the return, so perhaps I cold post you a
cheque or drop off cash somewhere and pick up the rubber where ever is
convenient for you. I'll call you..........Angus

Angus...if you are going into Midland anyhow I can leave a pair of tires and
tubes with Mandy there if you want. As you say..call me and we can work that
out..or just email me YES and I'll drop them tomorrow. I have to go to
Barrie tomorrow am anyhow and can drop them at the airport for you. I can't
remember what they cost and don't have time to look right now. They weren't
that expensive..
