rudder hinges

Folks,

I mated my rudder to my fin last night on my Super
rebel for the first time. All fits well and I have
temporarily installed the 1/4" bolts. It seems over
time the rudder hinges rubbing against the fin hinges
will cause wear? I am specifically referring to the
horizontal hinge surfaces wearing against each other,
not wear of the bolt holes.

What have others done here? Grease? Installed delrin,
nylon, or AN flat washers as a bearing? Any advice
would be appreciated.
