The test flight went pretty well, not as great as I would have liked
with a
couple of problems. It was a very hot and humid day (great to test the
limits) and unfortunately I did have a water over heating problem. Oil
and
CHT were fine. We have a couple of easy things to do which should
solve
that issue. Also two things with the prop - I have it pitched too
course and
we didn't get full RPM - I had pitched it to get 5200 RPM on the
ground,
thinking that when in motion it would raise the RPM up to the 5800 max
but
we found that we really only got about 5350 so I need to re-pitch, but
the
bigger issue is that on inspection after the flight Bob found a small
"bite"
out of the trailing side of one prop blades with what looks like a
little
de-lamination. I don't want to jump to conclusions until I get it off
and
send it to Warp but it will be a few days to get a new one so we can
continue the test flying.

It's my understanding that in all other jurisdictions in Canada
