[rebel-builders] Taxi test - flight testing

Post by Ron Shannon » Sun Feb 19, 2012 11:42 am

Mike,

As you may know, the FAA has a whole circular all about flight testing
amateur built planes, which is pretty good, certainly worth reviewing.
See http://tinyurl.com/yq748q The idea is to develop organized scripts
of tasks that progressively test the engine, controls, flight envelope,
etc., throughout the flight test period. The EAA has similar, perhaps
even better flight testing materials online in the (members) Homebuilt
section. No doubt, others know of other resources.

Unable to open FAA circular. Indicates that it is a pdf. Do you have
Another URL? Or what is the main page.

Oops, I jumped the gun. It's out of print, except for the downloadable
PDF file.

Alternatively, you can also order it hard copy from the
GPO for $9.50, at http://tinyurl.com/yr36cn
