Rebel nose section

I'm having trouble figuring out how to align the nose side panels (forgot
the part #) vertically on the cage uprights. This will set the vertical
position of the firewall. The manual gives some vague instruction to place a
block under the firewall. Is there some other reference? Is the top panel
level, or does it angle down? In other words, could I put a level between
the instrument panel and the firewall?
