direct the flames to it for melt down.
Hundreds and hundreds of RV's out there with alum boxes and some
Rebels/Elite in my hangar as well with them however...since that is what
Vans make/made some really nice compact ones out of, at a reasonable price.
Mine's steel...old J3 style..on my Rebel.

I was going to glue fiberfrax onto it but I remade it in stainless for
my Rebel. Glad I did as the fiberfrax would have got a good spraying of
oil during engine testing while I was trying to find the oil leak that
was under the flywheel on the other friggin end of the engine... FWIW I
think that aluminum cabin heat boxes/valves are probably a higher risk.
