One of the Ontario mod is to replace ST-31 by ST-28 for the door frame... If I do it that way, I will be short of ST-28 later and I will have a
overstock of ST-31. Like I told before, I will make doubler out of .020" scrap material and double those sill. My question:

The "grain of the aluminium" in ST-31 is longitudinal, but if I use the "scrap" I have the grain of the doublers will be "in the other way"...
Because it is just a doubler, is it OK?
