I don't have Waynes silky handed piloting skills so wanted a rugged tie down arrangement to prevent cargo from causing injury in a crash. We used the domed aluminum plates which have a 1" removable ring to accept tie downs. Probably will make a cargo net with nylon straps to suit after airplane completion. The domed plate use 2 - #10 screws to fasten them down. If several are installed the ring inserts (which can be changed in seconds) can be installed to suit or left home. Be sure they are suitably reinforced to prevent tear out.
