You are probably OK for first flight - I test flew a Moose with an
LS-6 a couple of weeks ago, and could only get 4,080 rpm on takeoff. (2:1)
It climbed 1,200 - 1,600 fpm ! They are working on re-setting the
prop governor so I can get at least 4,800 ... as well as cooling,
and other issues. Scheduled to try again this weekend, so will keep
you posted. You will likely gain a couple of hundred or more rpm
in flight.
FWIW, for first flight, I prefer just over half tanks, and at
least 100+ lb (water softener salt ??) well secured in the baggage
area - keeps it relatively light, and with a reasonable C of G.
2 notches of flap for takeoff OR landing works fine - do not use
more ! You might want to taxi a bunch of donuts on pavement,
dragging the brakes, to seat them in - they'll work a lot better
if you need them. ;-) I usually need an extra cushion - so eyes
are just below the wing - this gives much better forward vision.
