Post by Murray and Carol Cherkas » Fri Feb 17, 2012 11:12 pm

Hello ALL

I need a 10" or 11" spinner with back plate for an 0-320, Sensenich prop.
Just asking incase anyone has changed props and has spare parts.

Thanks

Clay,
Van's also has a 13" fiberglas spinner if Wayne can't supply. The
fiberglas units are much easier to fit as you can see through them to
correct drill locations.

Spinner

Anybody out there got some "spinner" info? I have the speed cowl (requires
13" diameter spinner), and will be getting a Prince prop (3.125" thick
with 3/8" crush plate).

Does the MAM spinner work?
Other sources? As far as I know UHS does not have a suitable model.

Mike.

Van's has a 13" spinner with plates for the Sensenich fixed pitch prop. I went that route after reading the MAM instructions several times and not wanting to do all the work involved. The fiberglass is impeccable and easy to see through it to drill. The plates are completed.

Thanks for he advice Rallph and Al. Vans says their FP-13 SEN spinner has
a design distance between the two bulkheads of 3.75 inches. My Prince
prop, with a crush plate, is 3.5 inches. and therefore a 1/4" spacer would
be required, and I will need new prop bolts. Having never done a spinner
before, I guess this is OK. I have been trying to get the design specs
from MAM for their spinner without any luck.. You know how that goes.

Mike

Try the Vans 13" spinner. Works beautifully with the speed cowl.
