bungy rings

G,day chaps,
Has anybody any info on the following Q,s
My Rebel has the bolts 5.16" facing E .W and N. S . EW on LG27 and NS on LG 29 [ my book] others LG43 .
Is it possable to still use 9044 [ 4 1\2 ] rings ,as they would have a twist on them.
Could I us e double the length and hook onto south end of bolt ,up over EW then back onto north end of bolt.
Hope you can understand this .
Also are the sizes of the rings ok.
Bolts are 5.16" do they need to be inc.to 3\8.
Will be using delrin rod over bolts also.
Distance between bolts centre to centre is 8 1\2 ".
